I have signed up with an account to LinkShare. I know this is an American company but they have affiliate programs and products that I desperately want to be a part of, some things not offered here in Australia.

Has anyone had any experience with them? Just wanna know if it's difficult to get money etc.

Hi, I would assign them to your spam folder. You'll get a heap of link requests from American sites that don't bother to reference yours whatsoever.

They are very good payers and on the one occasion I had an issue with my payment not coming through as expected they very kindly did a manual payment from my account. Very responsive, which is more than can be said for many of the UK networks I get 0000's in commission from each month.

Incidentally, meant to add that Linkshare have the worst deep linking in the known universe. Makes no sense!!

never had issues with them apart the datafeeds -you have to pay for them to get access- and also there is an issue of accessing the UK network if you are not a UK address resident (and some other countries...to which unfortunately i dont belong)but they have said to me that they are working on this solution...

payments by check you decide the threshold ... thats all folks...for now

I use Linkshare for a few product ranges when selling in my nerd niches.
They pay on time, never had a dispute, etc etc.

The only thing I have an issue with is that the merchants quality control. A lot of the merchant sites are pretty abysmal, and I think it detracts from sales a little. They should have the moxy to tell merchants to clean up their sites every so often... kind of like a mall does.

Well I've just signed up with them, only because there's a particular product I want to promote and it's only available through Linkshare. I'll let you know how I go.
