Default Hi! Mitchell from Poker Affiliate World

Hi guys,

My name is Mitchell, and i'm the marketing and communications manager from Poker Affiliate World.

This forums are actually quite interesting as i think there's so much potential in Australia for Affiliate Marketing, and it does hold a professional interest for me as well since i'm in the Poker industry.

Affiliate marketing for online poker has been slow on the uptake in Australia, and i think there's so much potential for Aussies to get into it before it explodes and everyone else jumps on the bandwagon.

Anyway, i'm based in Melbourne, and am always happy to assist affiliates. I'm normally found on the forums from my site, or you can always drop me an email.

Happy Affiliating guys!

Hi Mitchell,

Is PAW open to accepting Australian based affiliates?

Can you provide some stats to the forum, such as average conversion rates affiliates may expect from promoting one of your programs, EPC's etc.

If you do accept AU affiliates what are your payment terms? I.e. how do you pay them and when?

Cheers,

Andrew

Hi Andrew,

PAW accepts affiliates from across the globe. We've got about 5 affiliates from Australia right now (which is a very very small minority of our network), which is why i'm encouraging others to jump on and perhaps get a bit of first mover advantage.

Conversions vary dependent on the room (product) that you promote. For example: Full Tilt Poker has a conversion of rough ball park figure of 8% which is astounding, whilst other rooms which are newer probably experience a lower conversion rate.

Whilst those conversion rates might not be that appealing, and conversions might take a longer time, you're looking at much higher rates than other products. For example: the lowest CPA we offer is $75, whilst it can go up to $200 per real player referred.

We offer a premium CPAs, MGRs, or a hybrid of both (dependent on the room).

For CPAs, Payments are made when the players that are referred have met the minimum criteria (usually a deposit of a certain amount and/or playing a certain number of hands).

Whilst MGRs is for the whole lifespan of the player. So if you know a few players that will keep on playing, you're looking at a steady earning each month.

Payments can be requested via Bankwire, Neteller, or Pokerstars, Full Tilt or Party Poker transfers. The payments are made once a month when the reports from our partners have been reconciled (i.e. earnings from May are paid around the 20th of June).

Let me know if you need me to clarify anything else,

Cheers!

Hi Mitchell,

Great reply, I agree it's one of the next big things to hit the affiliate marketing industry in Aust. Due to current laws there are no Aust based poker sites but give it time, it has too happen eventually. Until then it's the USA getting all the commissions

Cheers,

Andrew

Hi Andrew,

That is true.
There's nothing stopping an affiliate from getting a .com address, but having the world Australian in the domain.

Oh, did i mention that the payments are in US$ as well?

As always, let me know if anyone needs more information or have a view at what we have to offer on http://www.pokeraffiliateworld.com/signup/affdirect

Regards,
