Hoping to learn a bit.

Hi all,

Happen to chance upon this forum very recently, almost as recently as I chanced upon affiliate marketing.

Very new to all this and trying to find my way. Dipping my toes in I guess.

Love the helpfulness of members on this forum so decided to join.

I would appreciate some direction to threads that would be a great starting point for someone new like myself.

Welcome to the forum.

Do you have any experience in design, programming, marketing etc? If we know this it will give us a better understanding of where you are at and can direct you from there.

I have a fair bit of experience in development, so that should not be a problem.

Design ~no formal qualifications there but probably better at that then coding, I've been painting, drawing etc since childhood and have even run up some logo's for a couple of businesses.

Marketing ahh well this is where I fall flat on my face. None at all really and this is probably the most important, it would decide how to design for any niche market etc. Only thing going for me there is my wife has a fair bit of knowledge there and she currently works for an entreprenaur who also has some great marketing experience.

So where do I go from here? what is the best way to enter affiliate marketing? What kind of research as far as finding my niche market, Successful style of sites for different markets etc.
