My friend told me that it still got a lot of bugs that are not fixed yet

No Operating System will ever be bug free and Windows having such a large install base I would be surprised that if there weren't any.

Having said, I along a number of other work colleges having been using Windows 7 for a number of months ie since the RC release and we all found a stable and better than Vista/XP. Microsoft learned from their lessons and have provided a good OS.

The question now is for you to decide when to jump to Win7.

^Yeah that's what I've heard so far too, that it's more stable than Vista. I'm still on XP but planning to switch to Windows 7 in the near future. Its initial sales and feedback have been good so far so it sounds like a good buy.
