Default Internet Marketing Sucks For Some

One of the things that has kept me from looking into Internet Marketing is it looked like chain letters in another form or a sophisticated form of pyramid selling.

There are certain operators who are only flogging whatever new slant on how to be a successful Internet Marketer without selling anything other than how to be an Internet Marketer.

This type of selling is highly dependent upon newbies coming on board and buying up big until they burn out or run out of cash. Consequently, they leave disillusioned.

Gerry Harvey (Harvey Norman) once said that there was no money to be made selling on the internet. It was just a fictitious paper trail; a virtual world that didn't provide anything of real value.

Dell computers have found they are making more profitable sales over the internet because they do not require the staff or retail outlets to do the same volume in the real world.

Many more goods are being sold over the Internet as people are becoming accustomed to buying online and fears of credit card fraud and privacy issues are abating.

As a newbie (not even three months old, really), I have come to realise that there is plenty of avenues to make a good income on the internet. However, if a person is going to survive and not be gutted financially by the crooks, then they need somebody who is ethical to show them the way.

Just today I got a phone call from an American shark who was telling me that I needed him to mentor me. He had gotten my phone number from a particular program I had joined. After 10 minutes I found out where he had got my number. His going price was $US10,000 to show me the ropes as a newbie.

There are other programs and coaches who are willing to show people the ropes for whatever money they are prepared to spend or can suck out of the unsuspecting newbies.

I don't mind paying for something because I know ignorance can cost people more. When the HappyRichesClub is launched, I will be looking at helping newbies and showing them the ropes for a lot less than what many people are trying to extort out of them at present.

It is very true saying that states: "You will reap what you sow."

yeah I agree, I have been in this business for quite a while now, and after a while you just get a feel for things, when a new product comes out promising the world, you can pretty much tell if they have any merit or not, just by reading their sales copy.

However, buying / learning from other people's experiences is still the best way to learn this stuff. I still buy a lot of ebooks and things, some I know I will never use, but I know I can draw from the knowledge at some point. Others will teach me 1 little thing that was worth learning.

If you learn something that can increase your conversion rates .05% it can still be worth 1,000's of dollars to you bottom line.

Having said that, most books and things I read are more like 10 page reports on a specific topic, rather than "how to make money online" type of books.

Hamo,

I think there is plenty of money to be made in the niche markets. I have just been looking at some stuff where a person has turned his business into what looks to be a growing success because he learnt how to do online marketing.

The way I see it Internet marketing is the wave of the future for sure. It just hasn't become as big as it is going to get. There is a huge amount of room for continued growth over the coming decades.

Yeah, there certainly is a lot of room for people to build businesses out of it, I get emails probably once a week from people asking if they can hire me to help them, so there are a lot of people out there searching for help.

The only problem is that most of them don't really understand how much business potential there is in setting up a proper online marketing plan, so they are not prepared to pay anywhere near what its worth.

Hi Happy Riches, I can't wait for you to put your lessons up and help people like myself. I am amazed at the tacky websites I have recently been directed to so that I can join and market my Ebook!!! enough to turn me off straight away.
