I'm not affiliated in anyway - but how can they offer .com.au's for this price?

Has anyone used them, or are they dodgy?

Netregistry also has a similar deal from time to time. The only trick to getting it is to come in from google so it picks up on the referrer. Using this technique over the past couple of months I got quite a few .com.au's for $28 AUS. So whilst I haven't used the company in question it is obviousily still a price in which they can generate revenue.

btw. the netregistry deal has changed at the moment to 40% of hosting

I would say they (like us) are resellers who have a bulk agreement with an auDA registrar and choose to pass on the savings to customers and make a smaller profit than others on a per domain basis.

They have a nice looking site.

I don't know how they can make guarantees like that though - when they are clearly false.

Almost every one of our domain prices is lower (.org.au the only exception). I also know of two other companies with .com.au's lower than discoutdomains price though one of them is ending their sale soon.

Hosting is throguh google, you can still get the domains

I did the same thing as you for awhile about 4 months ago...
just goto http://www.netregistry.com.au/offer/ and get in on the savings...

I use Hostess which is run by Netregistry and the .com.au are $25 and thats the everyday price.

I could well start buying my domains from you though as my reseller is about 1/3 more expensive at wholesale
